Free web video hosting for Matrox video products customers
Montreal, Canada - Matrox Video Products Group today announced that Matrox.tv, a video hosting web site is now online. Matrox.tv debuts as a free service available to all registered owners of Matrox DigiSuite, RT2000, RT2500, and RTMac video editing platforms.
Users can easily upload videos created with their Matrox products to public and private areas on the Matrox.tv site to share their work with clients, colleagues, family, friends, and the general public. "With the proliferation of broadband internet connectivity, the promise of web video streaming is becoming a reality," said Spiro Plagakis, Matrox vice president of sales and marketing. "Our clients are video editors. They naturally want to exploit the web to deliver their stories. Other hosting services already exist around the world, but they often charge users big fees because web video servers are very expensive to deploy.
Matrox.tv is the ideal venue to let hobbyists, small business owners, and entrepreneurs gain the practical knowledge and expertise they need to master the art of streaming video." Initially, each customer is allocated 20 MB of space on Matrox.tv and 1 GB of transfers per month at no charge. A variety of tools allow Matrox.tv users to easily manage and monitor their accounts.
